Over Indigo Plateau

Picked up my FireRed cart a couple of weeks ago and started again, and it turned into a solo Chariazrd run Obviously it wasn't a SRS BSNS playthrough, more for the nostalgia then anything else.

This put me more in mind of the original Pokemon "spirit" than any black and white gen 5 reboot ever will. Mostly because I'm certain that the first thing I did when I got my grimy primary school mits on the original Red/Blue was burn through it with Charizard

And I found that for me, the feeling of achievement at reaching Victory Road, knowing the Elite Four is just around the corner never gets old even after more then 10 years.

So geek rant aside, I really felt inspired to draw the Pokemon League at Indigo Plateau - the ultimate goal for trainers. Haven't drawn a landscape in ages so I'm pretty happy with this.

Also; originally the far bg was going to be filled with forests and high mountains - then I looked up what a plateau actually is OTL
Oh man year 7 geography failed me I always thought a plateau was a sheer cliff not flat tablelands!
